From 2010—2014, I worked in-house as part of the core team designing a new visual language for the British Museum. We developed a design that gave focus to the objects—giving them space on a black background with bold messaging. We devised a grid system and developed brand guides for typography, page layout and photography. I was involved with the project from the concept stage to implementation—ensuring the digital designs aligned with the printed work—such as the display screens in the museum and on the website—creating a consistent and recognisable visual language for the museum.
